Legal Enthusiast is a legal consultancy born from a deep commitment to the legal foundations of digital identity, trust services, and secure digital societies.

The idea behind Legal Enthusiast grew from nearly a decade of hands-on experience at SK ID Solutions, Estonia’s leading trust service provider. I had the privilege of working alongside some of the most inspiring professionals in the field. My focus was on the legal architecture behind trust services and contributing to the development of cross-border digital trust frameworks that support secure and interoperable digital services.

During my time at SK, I also worked extensively on international technology licensing, negotiating complex agreements with major global companies. These projects helped bring Estonian technology to markets across Europe and India.

In 2023, I had the opportunity to represent ITL Estonia in drafting DIGITALEUROPE’s position on the eIDAS 2.0 regulation. Collaborating with national trade associations and industry leaders to articulate the market’s most pressing concerns was both a challenge and a privilege. The result was a unified voice that reached EU institutions at a pivotal moment for Europe’s digital future.

My legal work has also extended into the field of cybersecurity. Most recently, I worked with CybExer Technologies, a NATO-awarded cybersecurity company. There, I handled international agreements, intellectual property matters, and legislative engagements at both national and EU levels. Earlier in my career, I contributed to the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence as a legal research assistant, and served as a lawyer at the Police and Border Guard Board.

While my background is rooted in digital identity, cybersecurity, and technology law, I work with organisations across a wide range of sectors. Many organisations outside the tech industry – such as those in public administration, finance and healthcare, for example – face legal questions related to digital transformation and regulatory compliance. My goal is to make these complex issues clear and manageable.
